Our client is a growing plumbing supply company with a strong presence in the Chicago, IL market. They are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their team. This position will focus on leading warehouse operations, inventory management, and service professionals.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the team follows safety policies and procedures
- Lead department towards continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
- Create and achieve key performance objectives of department
- Ensure efficient warehouse operations through collaboration with other departments
- Responsible for materials received, storage, disbursements, and timely distribution
- Create annual budgets
Requirements include:
- Three years of experience in warehouse environment
- Inventory management experience desired
- Substantial knowledge of warehousing key performance indicators
- Solid communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills and proven ability to effectively develop teams
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
